1) How old are you? 19
2) What is your gender? female
3) Do you play Xbox? If so do you play Xbox live? Yes
4) Why do you play video games? Entertaining, sociable, fills up time.
5) What is your favourite aspect of Xbox live? The ability to have private chat on the Xbox and Xbox parties.
6) Do you enjoy using the social networks available on Xbox live? Check on facebook however if it wasn’t there it wouldn’t make that much difference and it is pretty irrelevant for the gaming experience. The msn is an annoying feature because it pops up in the game and distracts you from the gaming experience
7) Do you play Xbox live (online gaming) and why? Yes occasionally, because it gives u a wider range of people to play against because my friends are much better, however i take a lot of abuse from male gamers.
8) How would you improve the Xbox live experience? The ability to play games whatever game your friends are playing, like download it just to play with them and then delete it after the game session(sessions) are finished.
9) Do you buy games for the online gaming or the campaign? For the campaign, as friends might not own that game as well, i also enjoy playing rpgs offline.
10) Do you use the various on demand capabilities for Xbox? Scroll through it and look on the market place so i can rent out a film sometimes, the sky feature is rubbish because you either have to have sky in the house or if you don’t then you have to pay 2 times as much.
11) What is your least favourite aspect of Xbox live? Msn and twitter, because they are annoying and it is becoming irrelevant.
12) Are you willing to pay for additional online multiplayer content? No because they are not that much more interesting and not worth the price for what they are. And also its not essential.
13) What do you think of the other gamers online? Most are just abusive to you, its funny if you are very good however if you aren’t good then it is irritating and pointless as your own team kill you and you cant complete anything.
14) Do you use the media player ability on Xbox live? Yes when I’m by myself and not talking to anyone.
15) What do you think of the advertising used by Microsoft, is it relevant to you? I just ignore it all; I understand why they do it however it is pointless and irritating. They should cut them down and make them less similar, and using the games you regularly play to then make the adverts more relevant to the gamer.
